'Colour Fuelled' is an on-going body of work that explores light through gradients of 'blackness' that are the result of layers of colour. The traditional technique of glazing is employed to investigate the coexistence of colour and the shared occupation of space - where the presence of the layers are revealed at edges of unpainted areas of ground. The white and the black can both be viewed as void.
